While Northwood’s primary investment objective is to maximize risk-adjusted returns to our investors, our ability to unlock value relies partly on Northwood’s continued monitoring of sustainability considerations throughout due diligence, operations, and disposition. Northwood recognizes that sustainability has the potential to drive value through stronger asset performance and return profiles, and thus considers sustainable investment factors like energy, asset efficiency, climate, biodiversity, and stakeholder impact. Northwood’s sustainability platform utilizes industry-leading sustainability consultants for strategic guidance and overall program execution, and is led by Northwood’s Associate Director of Sustainability and Sustainability Advisory Committee.
