Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Jain worked on the acquisitions team at The Meridian Group. While at Meridian, he focused on equity and debt investments across the company’s value-add strategy in the Washington D.C. MSA.
Mr. Jain graduated summa cum laude from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Finance and International Business.
Conrad Slater

Conrad Slater is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities for all property types, with a focus on Southern California.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Slater worked for J.P. Morgan Real Estate Americas in New York City focused on acquisitions and asset management in the Southeast region of the United States.
Mr. Slater received a B.S., magna cum laude, from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
Ignasi Sola

Ignasi Sola is a Vice President at Northwood Investors and is responsible for sourcing and executing real estate equity and debt investment opportunities in Europe. Mr Sola joined the Northwood Investors European team in 2019, and has worked across a number of acquisitions, dispositions and financings of all property types in Europe.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Sola worked on the acquisitions team at Blackstone as an Associate. Before joining Blackstone, he began his career at Citi Investment Banking in London.
Mr. Sola received a Bachelor in Business Administration from ESADE Business School, Barcelona, Spain.
James Seago

James Seago is a Vice President at Northwood Investors and is responsible for sourcing and executing real estate equity and debt investment opportunities in Europe.
James first started working with the Northwood Investors European team in 2014, and has worked across a number of acquisitions, dispositions and financings of all property types in Europe.
Mr. Seago received a B.S. in Economics & Finance from Duke University and he earned a MSc in Real Estate Finance from the Henley Business School, United Kingdom.
Sam Payette

Sam Payette is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities with a focus on retail and mixed-use assets.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Payette worked on the acquisitions team at Acadia Realty Trust. While at Acadia, he focused on equity and debt investments across the company’s core and value-add platforms across the continental United States. Before joining Acadia, Mr. Payette started his career at Deloitte Consulting.
Mr. Payette received a B.S. from Vanderbilt University in 2015.
Dave Copeland

David Copeland is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Copeland worked at Swift Real Estate Partners in San Francisco, where he was responsible for Swift’s investment and asset management activities in Northern California. Mr. Copeland sat on Swift’s Investment Committee, which oversaw all major investment and management decisions across four investment vehicles. Prior to joining Swift, Mr. Copeland worked at ASB Real Estate Investments, Presidio Partners (acquired by Macquarie Group) and Lincoln Property Company.
Mr. Copeland earned an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Lafayette College.
Sonya Chandra

Sonya Chandra is responsible for evaluating real estate investment opportunities through debt.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Ms. Chandra worked at King Street Capital in New York City from 2014 to 2020 where she focused on distressed CMBS, real estate debt, and public real estate investments. Prior to joining King Street Capital, Ms. Chandra worked at Deutsche Bank as an Associate on the CMBS secondary trading desk, where she headed the group’s distressed securities business.
Ms. Chandra received a B.A. from Columbia University in 2011 and became a CFA charter holder in 2017.
Aaron Weitzen

Aaron Weitzen is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Aaron Weitzen worked at Westbrook Partners in New York City from 2014 to 2020 as an Associate and Vice President. At Westbrook, Mr. Weitzen focused on acquisitions and the subsequent asset management of value-add/opportunistic investments in the New York metropolitan area. Prior to joining Westbrook, Mr. Weitzen worked on the acquisitions team at Clarion Partners in New York City from 2010 to 2014. At Clarion, Mr. Weitzen focused on acquisitions in Texas, Florida, the Midwest, and Eastern regions of the United States, covering multiple property types and risk strategies.
Mr. Weitzen received a B.S. from Northwestern University in 2010.
Gustaf Breitholtz

Gustaf Breitholtz is a Vice President at Northwood Investors and is responsible for sourcing and executing real estate equity and debt investment opportunities in Europe.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Mr. Breitholtz worked as a Director in the European Real Estate team at Värde Partners where he focused on underwriting and execution of real estate equity and debt investments across Europe. Before Värde Partners, Mr. Breitholtz worked in the Investment Banking Group at J.P. Morgan.
Mr. Breitholtz received a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering at Lund University.
Erin Cannata

Erin Cannata is a Managing Director at Northwood Investors and is responsible for evaluating real estate equity and debt investment opportunities in the US. Erin spent 6 years for Northwood based in London and was involved in over $4 billion of transactions of real estate acquisitions, disposals and financings across all property types in Europe for Northwood.
Prior to joining Northwood Investors, Ms. Cannata worked in the Real Estate Gaming & Lodging Investment Banking group at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in New York where she focused on corporate advisory assignments and capital markets transactions for the firm’s real estate, lodging, and gaming clients.
Ms. Cannata received a double major B.S. in Finance and Accounting, summa cum laude, from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.
